Nancy Gardens

Hello, Squirrel here today, and I am fretting about our grass, if it doesn't get cut soon I may never be able to get out of the back door.

I bet Nancy doesn't have that problem, after all, she was born to garden.

Right then, the yummy stuff

Hugs to all

Boom!

Hi everyone, it's Kat here!

A few weeks ago I really enjoyed playing with the volcano dies from MFT and couldn't resist another play but this time for something a little more interactive!

Did you spot the pull tab?

Do you wanna see what happens?!

Boom!  It was so easy to create the slider element as all the bits you need are included in the die set, and this could be used for so many other slider cards too...watch this space I guess!

If you would like more pictures and details on how I created this card, including the Distress Oxide colours I used, then please do pop over to visit me at Paper Firefly.

Have a fabulous day!

Christmas Cookies

My card today is another tally mark on the Christmas card stock with a cute mouse and sentiment from Gerda Steiner.  The papers are not specifically festive but are sufficiently versatile to fit the bill!

Sweet Pea Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone, it's Kat here!

I haven't spent much time in my garden lately (it has been a little damp!) but instead I have coloured up this little cutie as I do love sweet peas.

I've kept this design super simple to show off the beautifully detailed image...and any excuse to use one of my fave sentiment dies!

If you would like more details on how I created this card, including the Copic colours I used, then please do pop over to visit me at Paper Firefly.

Do I Smell Cake?

I think I could probably sniff out chocolate at 50 paces, but this little fella has sniffed out a huge cupcake that he's now got is eyes on.  I don't think the cake would've lasted too long with me but it looks like it's about to disappear soon anyway.

Little mermaid scene

Hello everyone, it's Kat here!

This card started out with a very simple idea and then it kind of ran away with me as I started to build up a scene around these sweet little mermaids!

Mermaids are fantastic for trying out different hair colours (if I was a mermaid I would have pink hair of course!) and how adorable do they look frolicking in the waves?!

Love you...

Happy Thursday everyone!

It's Sue here today to show you some of the beautiful brand new releases from
Whimsy Stamps
which are all available at our lovely
Dies To Die For

I absolutely LOVE today's card.
I have used the beautiful DoveArt stamp
Anchor

The anchor is such a special image I think.
As well as its obvious symbolism of the sea and sailors it represents constancy in love and hope, it is also the recognised jewellery hallmark for jewellery assayed in Birmingham UK - where I was born.

Puppy Pals

I've been playing with my MFT puppies again with a cute little canine themed card. This little fella needs to tuck into those biscuits before someone else grabs them!

Lava-ly!

Happy Friday and Happy Easter weekend everyone!

It's Kat here and I can hardly believe it but there were no Copics involved in the making of this card!

Instead, I had fun playing with the new MFT volcano dies and co-ordinating sentiment stamps...yes, it's another punny card!

I used Distress Inks to colour the background, the volcano and the foliage, and really love the effect they create, and it's so quick to do as well!

If you would like more details on how I created this card, including the Distress Oxide colours I used, then please do pop over to visit me at Paper Firefly.

You Make My Heart Happy

There's romance in the air with a Gerda Steiner stamp set called 'Fall in Love'. I've used the pair of squirrels with the tree, masking the little critters to make sure they appeared to 'sit' on the branch.  The sentiments in the 'Fall in Love' set are autumnal so I've added a sentiment from an MFT set called Friends Furever instead.

Belated chicks

Hi everyone, it's Kat here!

Do you remember how much I said I loved those adorable birthday chicks a few weeks ago?
Well, they are back!

I've used one of the brilliant MFT Blueprints die sets to give me lots of spaces to fill with cute chicks and a sentiment...I do love the belated birthday sentiments, possibly as I am very often late in sending cards - lol!
